New HQ for Talbot Landscapes

HQ at Brookfields Business Park, Etwall. Derby.

Talbot Landscapes has moved its head office to Etwall. The short move to an expanded facility of 8,000 square foot on Heage Lane, off the A50 to the west of Derby is an excellent location for the national operator.

The new location will house the head office personnel engaged in the tendering, planning and execution of projects and provide facilities to store and maintain landscaping equipment.

Investment in equipment

Important to the delivery of high service levels in landscaping is the continued investment in the latest equipment, the technical tools needed to execute landscaping sustainably. The enlarged footprint at the new Heage Lane premises will also benefit the team enabling improved equipment planning and utilisation.

Investment in personnel

Alongside the property move, Talbot Landscapes has taken this opportunity to recognise the contribution made in particular by two long serving managers. Both Ed Marson and Holly Fleming have been promoted to director roles.

Ed Marson becomes Contracts Director in charge of winning awards, project resource planning and contract supervision. Holly Fleming becomes Operations Director leading the administration support infrastructure to the sales team and live projects.

Mark Goodwin, Director at Talbot Landscapes commented: “I am delighted with the move to our new facility and to recognise the competency of both Ed and Holly in this way. Both have come up through the ranks, they understand our operations thoroughly and demonstrate repeatedly high levels of customer service”.

Sean Goodwin, Director at Talbot Landscapes added: “The new facility at Brookfields Business Park will support the improved communication and efficient operation of our staff at all stages of the project and allow us to continue to invest in market leading equipment and technology and attract and retain the best possible team”.

Significant contract awards

Business as usual, Talbot Landscapes has recently secured the renewal of its contract award at The Royal Parks (a five year contract at Hyde Park, £7m) and has also secured a repeat contract with an established customer (a one year contract at Wantage, Oxford , £2m).
