Linear Park Milton Keynes

Linear Park Milton Keynes

Supply of a diverse landscaping skillset

Our project at Linear Park in Milton Keynes highlights our varied skillset including the ability to provide maintenance on completed landscape projects.

Scope of Work

When constructing the 2 full-sized football pitches, 2 junior natural turf football pitches and a natural turf, club standard, cricket wicket. The surfaces were prepared to Talbot’s quality standards of excellence and certified on completion to Sport England PQS standard.

Drainage

Making best use of existing indigenous top-soil’s and sand amelioration we created a strategic drainage systems, facilitating increased playing hours throughout the seasons.

Complimentary to the strategic drainage systems, our meticulous package included the expert seeding of the attenuation pond margins, introducing appropriate aquatic plant materials.

Hard Landscaping

But we didn’t stop there. We applied our hard landscaping skillset to install fencing, construct tarmac pathways, and lay 1.5 kilometres of footpaths, ensuring easy access for everyone

Planting

Our final stage set Talbot’s green thumbs in motion, commencing the soft landscaping elements of the project. With finesse and precision, we planted a staggering 1,200 whips, breathing life into the surroundings. Our horticulture team added a further 300 trees, ranging in size from 8-10G to 16-18G, and added 1,300 shrubs, creating a verdant landscape.
